most underrated group in hip-hop? perhaps?
buy that new album, Pick A Bigger Weapon... i'm tempted to say that they keep getting better, unlike most musicians in general.

I try not to get into that most underrated thing, cause there's just so many acts still out there that are good but don't get shine.
but yeah...I'm diggin the Coup...I need to pick up that new album

p.s. there were about 4 people there to see them last year at the granada, so i'm not surprised they're not coming back this tour. i think certain acts would have a better turnout if they played in kc instead of lawrence, though..

They're going to be in Austin later this week. I'll let ya'll know how the show is. I had to break out the Genocide and Juice album to get myself ready. "Repo Man" is classic!

yeah, try to go see them if you're somewhere they'll be, i actually really enjoyed there show even though no one showed up... i hate it when you can tell people are pissed off that there's a small turnout, and especially when you can tell they don't respect your city because it's in the midwest, and they rocked it without any of that.

I got on The Coup late, around 2003 or so.
Since then they have been one of favorites.

Never really been a fan, but I met Boots once.
That's a cool character right there.
Nice guy...
