Ok I wouldn't exactly wager, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better one. 20 Syl (France) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OhDC5GUJYw

That was a pretty good one. He was all over the place, I'd be hella tired by the time I got done making a beat if I felt the need to run around that much, then again his beat turned out real good (was taking notes..j/k).

Since we're sharing, here's one of my favorites. Not so much a beat making video, more of a producers philosophy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEfDqJVwS-A

Very dope beat, very soulful. Just didn't like the drums. I would love to have a setup like that...I can dream. since we're on the subject. Here's Kev Brown making a beat: http://youtube.com/watch?v=iHOXXsu4ehc&search=Kev%20Brown and Just Blaze: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tS6ZGAhsM64&search=making%20beats and Rick Rock: (dude gets on my nerves and the beats also gets on my nerves, but thought I'd post it anyway): http://youtube.com/watch?v=reikD6hVorc&mode=related&search=making%20beats I might have posted these before, but I thought I'd fill the thread with some dope vids.

Pete Rock is my favorite producer of all-time. His video wasn't as interesting. Partly because he talked through most of it. I did like it a bit better, but I realize that's because he's Pete Rock. If I didn't know him I'd like the 20 Syl joint quite a bit more. Thanks for posting this though. It's been added to my YT favorites.

yeah, I watch that Pete Rock one every now and then...I have to like just cause its Pete Rock, but the other vids I find more interesting. I really like that 20 Syl joint and that Kev Brown one.

yo, I found some more of 20 syl's production. He produced a lot of joints on this dude Melodiq's soundclick page. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=70194 ^^It's got a song using the beat in the video: "far away (remix)" and here's his artist page: http://www.onandon-records.com/20syl.php dope stuff, you should check it out.

We were due to collab a while back, but it didn't quite work out. You never know though... You might hear something in the near future. *Wink*

Damn, all those videos were sick. I think 20 syl's was the most impressive as far as how much he created his own sounds. Dude seems to just be a great musician all around. Kev Brown is obviously doin his thing, and I liked his beat alot. Just Blaze was hot to watch just because his sounds are so big, and he makes fucking classics. Pete Rock's video wasn't the most impressive, but that dude is one of my favorites of all time as well and it's fun to just watch him talk and fiddle with a beat knowing the classics he's produced in his career. Alchemist's video was funny and shit, but obviously it wasn't that informative. Good shit ya'll, I love watching this shit. To me this is the shit hiphop is about. What gets my blood boiling is watching the music get assembled, more than hot performances and videos. Its the motherfuckers sitting around the studio inventing new ideas, scrawling a verse on a beer stained yellow pad or punching out keys on an mpc. I love this shit.
