We are gonna have more celebrities,guest host,and a full line of label reps on hand...
Some are taking all the credit for starting this movement..but thats ok we know who the original is...let them have there light..The Pitch named Mack Leathal the hottest KC Rapper..so anyone who sayd that crap,,isn't gonna offend me with giving the credit to some girl at the Peanut..lol The real artist in this city know who brings the heat and has the crunkest and most true to KC hip-hop show is. We have overcame so much to bring this back..I feel that KC deserves this.. I put this on the line..I bet that one of the cats at ous show will get sighned to a Major label within 6 monts..thats how big we are going with this this go around.
I'm not doggin' anyone..just sayin thanks for keepin the fires warm while we got a new game plan....
But to all of the replicators who feel you are the hip-hop kings...it's not worth taking the credit from you..cause we all know that it's the artist that bring the music to the club that makes the show...not a person who took a good idea and made it cheesey..so my advise is to Save your money cause after March kick-off...We know where the real artist in KC will be on Sundays.....
I think that anyone who expresses themself thru hip-hop is an artist, but that don't make you a rapper.So all of the coffee house MC's just stay at the Peanut...lol Cause we do this for the rappers. How many times has Tech N9ne came to you'r show.. How many pack the floor when you play Mac Dre... and how many artist have you had that sold more that 10,000 sound scan or went anything over tripple wood?..lol Ask youself these and you will see that you were not the top dog.. Bringing a bunch of aspiring artist together is great..I give you props,But where are you taking them?
I mix the scene with up-and-comming with top people in the industry.
What good are you doing if you arent doing no-one no good???? I don't give rappers a place to go and be among each other...I give them a chance to be heard and seen by people that can make them.. Plus theres not another DJ in Kansas City that can get it as crunk as me when the party starts....so that might help too.
