For the record...
"The Young Lions" was never meant to be an identifier per se.
It's a performance series I came up with to help younger artists.
You don't wanna be involved?
Fair enough, but the show itself... Is going NOWHERE.
And if by chance you're booked for the next show and wanna back out...

Jason Harper of The Pitch is single handedly responsible for us being called "Young Lions" haha. The media loves to coin different terms. I think he mainly does it to link a previous post with a new post so people can continue to read. I think it's smart on his behalf. For us...I dunno. lol

I really wouldn't worry so much how people categorize you. The more correlations people make to you, whether you invented them or not, the easier it is for them to remember who you are. It's not as confining as you might think. When you rock a set, or put out a project, its YOU that's making the impression. Shit, you can be in as many groups as you want, but if you're the artist in the group that they like it'll be your name they remember. However, if someone just knows the group name, regardless what it is, and that's what brings them to the show, that gives you an opportunity to gain a fan.
