I mean i really REALLY love me some turkey bacon right now. I stopped eating pork bacon about a year ago and just discovered this culinary marvel that is turkey bacon. Merely 1.5 grams of fat and 25 calories per slice, and call me crazy but I think it tastes better than the real deal. I LOVE TURKEY BACON AND I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW!!!

Welcom to the Turkey Bacon Club Broker! I've been on Turkey Bacon for years now. It's much better than it used to be! Some variations even get "crispy" like Pork Bacon.

I've had people say it doesn't really show, but you'll notice in pictures that I used to always wear relatively baggy clothing. Not to mention my face used to be rounder. I'm in a 29 inch waist for the first time since middle school. GO TURKEY BACON!

Turkey bacon is bomb, but try turkey sausage and turkey burgers. Jenny-O is the best tasting brand I've found in my time with turkey. It's hard to get a homemade turkey burger to taste good, but her pre-made, pre-seasoned patties are the shit.

If you go to the City market, visit the Halal market. ask for the arabic spice blend. Mix that with a little white pepper, minced onion, garlic powder and a touch of chili powder. Your good..

In order to get it crispy you have to burn it. It tastes more like a weak imitation bacon to me. I hate to support such a crazy big Corp. but the best I've come across so far is actually Butterball. It cooks and tastes almost like pork (better if you ask me). It may have a little more sodium and 5 more calories, but it's still hella good for you compared to the pig.

I'm sure if you hit up Bearstyle on myspace you could cop the sauce recipe but it won't be the same at home or any other Peanut for that matter. I think it requires years of grease and filth buildup getting caked on the fryers to obtain the flavor of the downtown spot. It's kind of how no Arthur Bryant's locations other than the original downtown location can smoke the meat so perfectly. You're definitely gonna need at least a Fry Daddy or something though in order to even attempt peanut style wings. Beyond that, the big secret is the source of their wings. No one there will disclose and no one else seems to know where they come from, but I've heard they buy directly from specific farms. I'm pretty sure the blue cheese is just blue cheese crumbles tossed with Hidden Valley ranch and some garlic powder.

Turkey >>> I have made the switch from hamburger to turkey. I still eat red meat as in steaks because I love steak but if i want a burger I go turkey. I discovered Jenny-O about 6 months ago and by a box every payday. When I need quick meals its where its at. I sprinkle a bit of chipotle seasoning on them as well and they taste great. The turkey sausage is really good as well. You have to watch which one you get. They have some which is 80/15 so its not much difference in fat and calories as regular sausage. If you get the white turkey breast shit though its extremely lo-cal as well as low fat. I also LOVE turkey cutlets. And I make a nice pasta dish with ground turkey.
