Joc Max is a thoughtful man. It took me a lil while to get him warmed up and flowing. Starts slow.. builds well in time. The extra gifted producer and dj is a mentor to me in many ways and, thankfully, now a close friend. We discuss djing past and present, as well as the practice of folks asking for requests. beatbroker contributes a review of a rare and new bourbon barrel quad boulevard beer. And the debut of an endearing intro animation contributed by Silas Who? An honest reflection conceived of in the moment, this episode continues the tradition embodied by TMBS. It gets a lil off track here and there, kind of started fast forwarding half an hour into it, but there's some great shit in there.

it is as much a documentary of the moment as it is a "show"
i agree the 1st 15 minutes are real boring.. but it was what it was and not worth editing out to me.

Actually, I didn't find it boring until about a half an hour into it. Which, for someone who grew up on American cartoons is pretty impressive.

I'll also add, it wasn't any one part I got bored of. Just the free form nature of it overall results in a cumulative amount of wanting to watch something else. This isn't a critique, just being honest, in case the feedback helps.
I need to check out the third one still. I'll do that soon.
