hmm. See, to me the problem is that all these songs that are allegedly against hate, haters, playa hatin' etc. are equally if not more hateful than the individuals they're attempting to call out. Awfully contradictory and very ironic, though i think most of these "artists" would fail to recognize that point even if you spelled it out for them. It's really quite amusing to me. It seems to me that the remedy for rampant haters is to not acknowledge them at all, and maybe to rap about flowers or ponies or something. But then that wouldn't sell records now would it? Hell. I guess rap about your money, women, skill, your city, whatever really. But to write songs opposing haters that are full of spite and hate themselves seems to defeat the purpose of the song from the get go. Am I the only one who thinks about this?

you can take the songs and theme literally and dissect it like that....... or you can just see that the songs are kinda silly and fun and it's the name of the party. maybe you could see that it's an invite for folks like yourself and everyone else on here to come down on the 7th and just have fun. because it's actually pretty rare we all do that and we deserve more opportunities to do so. that's how i'm seeing it anyways.

Sorry, I'm not knocking the party or the concept. You know I respect what you do. I really like the name of the night actually. I'd love to make it out but i'll be playing. I'm just taking a stab at people who hate on haters. Especially through song. It's an pointless cycle. Not to mention, I don't think this topic is taken lightly or spoken of tongue in cheek by many of the artists who put out this type of material. Really though, I'm just stirring up shit because it's fun. Don't mind me.
