Topic: world rap chapionships in kansas city???

    si i've been thinking about doing this for sometime i'm looking for some feedback. do you think that we would have enough solid teams to do this? do you think emcee are even interested in this? do you think that this would be a good thing to happen to the scene? now this wouldn't even be qualifiers this would be called preseasons battles and the net kids would be the one to vote to see if kansas city goes any further. oh, versus is coming vert should put up the info soon be ready folks.

I smash more pads on stage than anyone! LOL.. Then when Mics of the Round take all, again.... It will produce more haters.. Just like last time.

    where are all these haters? on the overall we have a pretty supportive scene. no but really should i do this? this is going to take a lot more energy then anything else i've done so far. i'm trying to see if any emcees are down WRC and as for versus the production part has change a little not much when we make the huge post we'll get into that.

"I hate rap competitions." or Emcees that think, say, or are told. "I know I'm (you're) the best, or am told I am the best and don't ever cipher, freestyle, or battle. The Haters are the people who feel that they are too good to battle. The Haters thinks just cause they got two or three indie albums, and like 50 fans. Can I get a soundscan check? "Nobody" whos supposed to be "Somebody" in KC, was at the last "so-called" battle. So "Nobody" "repped" their city, nor Westport, Midtown, or West-Side....excuse me north Plaza area..... Some kids from outta town....Johnson County..eehhh hmmm, took the crown. result? Haters...Well maybe not hate, but no love. Thats for sure. How you gettin better, if all you do is scrimmage your boys? The Larry Johnson Syndrome is pandemic. All you emcees catching it furious. my opinion as a fan (edit)

I think it's a lot of work and the response can vary.. could be huge or it could be a disaster.. and for it to be pulled off.. lemme make a list 1. You need a big turnout.. Spectators and emcees alike.. 2. Make sure all emcees show up! 3. recognizable judges such as mac, pro, reach etc.. 4. Promote Surrounding areas.. St. Louis, Lawrence, Joplin, witchita etc.. could think of more but those are just some thoughts.. p.s. we still need to sit down and pick out beats -sway

    i agree with sway, the crowd, while video taping, is, almost as important as dope emcees...if its to seem like there is a scene here anyway...id def be there in the crowd for any wrc type thing...ill be there for vs...its always fun... and haters...are necessary...i love em, if you dont have anyone to hate, hate on me...im straight

    i feel you sway we're on the same page as far as this and ghouls go. as for ace, homie you're mothafucking on point. i need someone else to throw on a battle so i can enter. i thought the first versus would spawn something else............. as for this wrc shit the teams i know would enter still aren't enough for a six teams two on two bracket. well let me rephrase i don't think that we have six worthwhile teams. what i'm trying to see right now is who would enter besides the people i know of. versus is going to pop off guest judge okwerdz and hosted by mac lethal hopefully heads who weren't in the know will hear about it this year. we're also promoting out of state. remember folks this is a slow build but, i'm trying to make this one of the battles for people to enter to get some recognition, well, that's the hope... now back to wrc. i don't want to do some shit that doesn't even make it to qualifiers. i want the monsters to show up. word up we don't have that many monstrous battle heads here but the few we have would murder on the battle circuit. you tell me that Godemis and Vertigo.N.E. wouldn't do a good showing in a national battle? i don't think you can. now adding cats like acetone, been grim, and even freaking IDK we can have an out standing show here. i'm just trying to help people get noticed...     if you build it, they will come. it seems like there's a whole bunch of good battle cats here and/or some that are just good emcees & could breeze through making the transition. i guess you just need ppl who are dedicated, from all standpoints.

    Toon: you're talking like acappella tag team battles, and filming it outdoors at different locations JUST like WRC? you don't need a crowd, you just need the emcees to show and a camera man. put it up on the net the next day and let everybody peep it. definitely have to have more of the vets come out for the WRC and the Versus. there was only about 3 good battlers at the first Versus, i was not one of them.
