thats sad. He is the true meaning of swagger and DIY ethic. He financed all of his movies when the majors turned him down and handled everything while recording. He also put on many commedians with his side label and company generation international like Lady Reed aka the Senseous Black Woman, Jimmy Lynch(mr motion pete rock heads should know this sample), i cant think of who else but i have the records in the house. One of the og rappers(first release in the 50's) and a amazing singer(turning point lp).
