am i the only one who can't stand it when we have the air show every summer?!
there is something very disturbing to me when a huge death machine is buzzing around our city for entertainment purposes...
anyone seen the stealth bomber? ... looks like some star wars shit.
wtf?????
i find it hard to believe anyone can find this stuff entertaining, when halfway around the world, we are bombing the daylights out of ordinary citizens like you and i....
the world is a twisted place.... 🙄

Yeah, the past two days before this weekend those guys were doing practice sessions I guess, for today .. and boy was that shit annoying. Coming home on Friday afternoon, from Riverside, taking 169 was a fucking hassle with everyone slowing down just to see some planes.
And boy were they loud. Almost ripped my eardrums off. I can't see how looking into the sky, having neck cramps,getting sunburnt & having a severe loss of hearing for hours upon hours can be seen as fun.

I agree and disagree.
The planes scare the hell out of me.
But its a good wakeup call to have these war machines parading over our city. I'm not saying its right that people find shallow entertainment in vehicles that are used to kill thousands, but I guess I look at it different. They don't make me smile, they make my insides cold. But that cold is very sobering, and I appreciate it.

They've been buzzing the restaurant I work at in Columbus Park all weekend... that's our tax dollars at work right there! Thanks KCMO. Get to work on that aquarium plan so you can put some flathead catfish in the tanks and attract no one.
Plus, not to mention, my favorite route home from work on Woodswether through the West Bottoms was clogged like a hairy drainpipe today... the ice cream men are banking.
This city is the proverbial two-sided coin.
