MilkDrop has so much soul. It's stated in his MySpace address, and based off a listening of his new CD "File Cabinet Flows vol. 1" he's not lying. "File Cabinet Flows" is 14 tracks & 2 bonus tracks of Milk spitting over classic HipHop and original beats. From Mobb Deep, Alchemist to 9th Wonder MilkDrop uses his off-kilter flow to promote where he's from and what he's about. Part of the Soul Providers Crew, Milk has been rhyming for a grip, is very confident & secure with his rhyming style & has a variety of topics to speak on from braggadocio, soulful & personal shit, including his love for HipHop and also his lady. When he's being introspective is when MilkDrop is at his best. An example of this is his track "Should Be", where Milk talks about having for more than one person, but there are no spoilers here, you'll have to purchase the CD and figure it out for yourself. On "Get Enough" Milk raps over a soulful track which reminds me of some baby making music. You can tell from "Get Enough" that Milk is on his grown man shit & possibly the Barry White of HipHop. "Let Me" is the best track on Milk's CD by far. It's a very introspective song where he pours his heart out about the pain in his life. Milk has a way with words that'll make you envision his life as he paints a very vivid picture of it. Milk sprinkles a few relatable lines in "Let Me" such as 'music is my therapy, my time to relax .. revealing on tracks a piece of my soul'. MilkDrop is heavy in the rap game and it shows on this CD. He's a soulful genius with words like Dilla was with the beats.
