I think the most unique thing about Midwest fashion is that it has so many influences. The Midwest is a melting pot of alot of people who come from other regions. I think that we all take pieces of all that we see, and instead of imitating it we make it our own. On my side of the river: Staffords (White T's) have been a staple for years. Rocking an undershirt the same color as your fit goes along with it. Chuck's, Tim's, and Retro J's unlaced. Rocking thermals under polos. Carhart jackets. Cocking your fitted to the left. Some its style, some its territorial. Etc Etc etc.

everybody has their own reasons for it. most of the influence that i know comes from gangs or which side of town you're from in different cities.
