   and the award goes to.... XV http://www.myspace.com/xtothevizzy I know who's who in the scene, but this dude.... is by far the CRISPIEST rapper in the whole tristate area. He never wheres the same 400 dollar Nikes twice, no joke! This brother is way too clean!

   It's good to invest a few dollars in a good pair of shoes, but man...wear the hell outta of them! Until they are no more! It's a waste of shoes and his own money. Yeah the net always has the deals.

    First off. Milk, if you're paying $60.00 (or less than retail for that matter) for any NEW Js' online... THEY'RE FAKES. Period. There is no way around it. It's the way it is. There are rampant fakes and bootlegs that look somewhat legit, but rest assured they are not the genuine article. Dr. T. As for your boy XV, If he's paying $400.00 for ANYTHING (new at least), he's getting played hard. There has only been 3 (count em, 3!) Nike/Jordan shoes in history that have retailed for over $250.00 other than joints exclusively for Nike's close friends and family (ie; Clark Kent, Kanye, Fat Joe etc.) And these were true Anaconda skin AF-1's, true gator skin AF-1's and the XQ edition, Chinese New Year Jordan 1's. Some 2 and 3 shoe packs cost more, but that's it. PERIOD. Everything else that goes for more are hyped up pieces of shit that only catch high prices because the hype is capitalized on via auction. If he's paying reseller premium prices on ebay or store raffle auctions, then he's a fool and a sheep, but he's feeding people like me who know not to ever pay more than retail. Also, if you retire dope sneakers after one wear, you're just a fashionista who does it for the image and have no love or respect for the sneaker. Can anyone say "Damon Dash" (punk) These are the kind of people who don't deserve to own good sneaks. People like that not only get the gas face from me, but will also get their toes stepped on by me. (literally and intentionally) -my 2 cents. It's not a competition. Fact: The crispiest dude in the area is Joc Max. Fact.

    I Love Broker, that's my dude! But I'm not the crispiest dude in KC hip hop, in fact Broker dresses way better than me! as do many of you. However I do LOVE and i mean.......LOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEE ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗ ❗ sneakers, kicks, grips what ever you want to call em.     you're probably right Drew, but the 2 pairs i have that i got online the Aqua and Black Suede 9's and the Black and Red Fusion 5's look pretty legit to me. as long as the Jordan symbol isnt jumping the over way i'm cool.

    If anyone is payiong ~400 for sneakers they are buying them 2nd hand from some dude who paid ~100. If someone is paying ~400 for nike sneakers they are spending ~390 more than it takes to make them. If Someone is paying ~400 for sneakers they probably bough them from beatbroker on ebay and beatbroker now has more money than them. If buying ~400 sneakers and wearing them once makes someone else envious, or think that action is worth admiring or recognizing for anything other than the frivolity that it is, we are all caught up in a social system too confused by our lack of need to hunt and remain warm to realize what to focus on. Thats the truth either way. Make no mistake about it, our american lives are too often a game having too much and not knowing what to do with it. myself inclided, and that is why i seek truth and honesty, to carve out a groove in the rest of our engulfing social lies. I look forward to completeinfg my musical missions so i can move to a barren landscape and make noises and cook food i find. I'll be way more healthy and clear headed when away from the concrete jungles i am curently attracted to and focused on. just to say, I do own a couple well designed nikes. 🙂

    Sorry all but Vertigone is the CRISPIEST dude in KC. Black T, Black shoes and jeans. i dare someone say I ain't fly. LOL! On the real, I once had Beatbroker follow me up the stairs from the dungeon of The Record Bar. He looked at my sneaks and said, "what's up with your shoes?" Pair of tan Eye Paths that had the stuffing coming out of both sides. Broken shoelace and floppy sole! Them shits were grimy as hell and I still have them! I don't pay more than ten bucks for a Tee and 40 for some kicks! -Vrt
