Topic: Polow Da Don is basic! Uses Garageband Loops!
- Apr 4, 2008 02:28pm by DJSKEME Location: Grandview, MO
Damn. I've been telling cats Garageband is no joke. For a free program it's a beast and it's proven by Polow Da Don using it's loops to make Usher's new joint!
Clip of a random kid that found the loops.

E. Badu was turned on to it by her son, Seven, and she too used it in the process of her new album. I need to check this out.

I kinda researched it a bit, it doesn't seem to differ much from what I can do with ACID 6 .
Am I wrong ?

Nope. Garage band is good because its free. When you buy a Mac you almost feel there is nothing you can't do as an artist. Music, Art, or Photo wise.
I've got a couple of music programs , like Music Maker from MAGIX and Logic Pro, and have heard [u:48b5cd206b]some[/u:48b5cd206b] of their loops and samples, recycled. There are also a few Websites that you can get sounds and loops from and the sounds and samples that you can buy, are also [u:48b5cd206b]some[/u:48b5cd206b] of the same recycled sounds.
get at me for website.

Man. I'mma go look again now. I had found a site with all sorts of Apple loops and plug ins. I got some Limiter converts (AU format) and a VST to Au converter on it.
CRISPY!
