As you all know we recently had a situation (on the boards) that got a bit out of hand between AceFadal and Nadia.
That situation was resolved about a week ago.
The three of us sat down and had a mediation to work through those issues and close the chapter on that story.
With that said, it's been taken care of...we're moving on.
With that in mind, we need to re-establish our mission statement:
[quote:d91e564611][b:d91e564611]VISION
To Foster the Hip Hop Culture and Community in the KC Metro
MISSION
EDUCATE * STIMULATE * COLLABORATE * CREATE
ACTION
Create:
KC spaces for Hip Hop gatherings and community
opportunities for collaboration, showcases and informative workshops
establish partnerships with the supporters of Local Hip Hop Culture
If this sounds like somethin' you can vibe with stay tuned, we're just a seed germinating! Otherwise known as "A Rose".[/quote:d91e564611][/b:d91e564611]
New policies have been put in place to uphold the integrity of that mission statement.
We maintain our "no beef" policy and will in the immediate future issue bannings for multiple offenses.
Going forward any instance of beef that a poster has been forewarned about will result in a 90-day banning (no questions asked). Further violations of that policy will result in a permanent ban from the site.
The same will be true of spamming and repeated instances of posting materials in the wrong sub-forums.
The new policy will be enforced at the discretion of the site's owner and all subordinate moderators.
We welcome spirited conversations.
We welcome you having more volatile discussions off of the board.
We will offer to mediate any situation that may need a more structured exchange of ideas.
We're headed in a new direction and we hope you'll join us.
Thank you much.

we have so much to do, so much creativity to spread, this site is a tool to be used by anyone and everyone who understands :
This is a mission driven endevor about focus, community, joint effort, and respect for each other as artist and people
I hope to never have to ban anyone from this site, but to preserve the mission / intent that founded it
I will not hesitate to do so.
let's get back to discussing and respecting our difference while supporting our shared-ness

Who are the subordinate moderators?

I don't know - but it's an ill crew name!
Say it with me "The Subordinate Moderators".
Lets DO have some honest dialogue here, but I agree we need to be building & not tearing into each other.
Thanks for keeping this going NRG , REACH, invisible web pickles etc... and Family!
