Come on Ace.
She could've shut the night down entirely.
I know you're upset, but this was uncalled for.

this was all news to me as of late sunday night when i spoke w/ ataxic.
i was told nothing would be changing earlier in the week.
from what i understand, she still didn't really know the full story until she read Jenee's article in the Star on Sat.
Mind you, she did not know of or condone us using the upstairs currently.
needless to say she was pissed.
that was the reason for the upstairs.
as far as the cop goes. i don't know what's up with that.
from what i hear they had another fight break out on friday or sat.
and she decided to try this for a couple weeks.
i doubt he's there next week even, but who knows.

The best part about that cop who was there was when I talked to him about the fight, and he said, "As I understand it, the people who started the fight came here from the River Quay."
I was like, "You mean you think they came here because Skybox is shut down?"
He was like, Right.
Ummmm, 1) No, they didn't come from Skybox...Did Skybox ever have anything going on on Sunday nights anyway?
and 2) How long has it been since anyone called it the River Quay? Does this guy still call the mayor Pendergast, too? Geez.

please do not put any blame on Jenee for these changes.
The article was VERY well inentioned and this is not her fault.
she wrote the piece with my blessing.
granted, i didn't think it through to the possibility of Melinda reading the article, but it shouldn't have mattered.
Jenee didn't write anything that Melinda shouldn't have already known about. Everyone should have been more forthcoming from the moment
this shit jumped off.
i think the responsibility here rests somewhere between my shoulders and those of the Peanut mgmt. (ie: Bear, Randy)
so... our bad.
these changes are indefinite but not neccessarily permanent.
