I want the beat battle to pop off EXACTLY like the one Reach had at his last show at the Record Bar. 3 producers doing 3 rounds and a sample challenge. That's it. Maybe 30 minutes at the most really. Depending on how many emcees enter (and I'm expecting 32), the emcee battle may take upwards of 2 hours dukes.
You need to hit me up so we can get on the same page.
So we go at it with pre-made beats, and then make a live joint?

Peep Bloody Knuckles for the hypeness. Check Sleepy Brothel for the dope drum programming.
Trystly is mad artsy with his beats and that's right up my alley. I'd put him up against anybody.
If you want to hear your favorite producer's least favorite producer, check my beats out.

i will run my mouth all day because you cant step to my beats, quit now, and it wont hurt so much when you go home crying. This is the first time i have posted on this site in months and i felt i had to cause somone informed me that some horrid producer was running his mouth about how dope he was.
lets just make this battle between the 2 of us[/quote:2793122627]
After all that I sent this liittle boy a message....
[quote:2793122627]Yo. Kid its all in fun. I respect your creativity nad your style for real. but we need to let kids know that we are just being braggadoshish. we got to let them think its going to be a heated battle. so kids will get in and participate. Word?
Please dont take offence to any off my comments. Its all in love, respect, and the game. Im just having fun.
I got no rep either, but people want beats from me. too many. i got mad work to do.
BET?[/quote:2793122627]
Now if this aint trying to shake hands, I don't know what is.
I even pm Reach to let him know that I was not being serious. This kid tried to take it to a whole nother level. Tried to make it a personal bitch attack, and as peers, instead of you guys checking this kid and making him repesct my culture, my style, and my beats.... You gassed his ego. Shame on all of you.
I mean really though. You have this competition, but you don't vote. Hell yeah I take it personal. To me. It just seems like you all are going to vote for him or not vote at all.
As a matter of fact,, I don't think Distorted Mastermind has ever had anything positive to say or comment about me or my posts.
I found out that Trystyl is just a punk kid with something to prove, hes real young. and his personality sucks. that is why he gets the squirrel logo.
Its bull shit though! For you fuckers to come after me, when that little nigga ain't done shit for Hip Hop in Kansas City, nor the community, and he aint john blaze!
Maybe some of you are the reason KC ain't blowin up. You let a little muther fuker dis my craft, my skills, my love for the music, my love and support for the scene, my dedication to looking out for my so-called peeps? and did not say shit. Fuck yall! We supposed to be down for ach other?
I dare someone to say shit about the tag, Mythic put up on my house.
I would defend you against any artist. Better or Worse. Thats just me.
But now maybe I should get an artist thats fresher, newer, better style. Im buying primer tomorrow.
WTF? I really don't care, actually i'm done with this shit. I just dont understand how you all can let a competition go to shit. It went for two days. Maybe his first 2 were better. But the charts and my pocket$ say differently. I won this last shit. Thats why nobody voted. and it don't matter.
Again, done here.
That kid don't even post here.

You're painting over something I did out of kindness and generosity because I liked someone else's beat better than yours?!! WHOA!! And you're how old again? Geeminee Christmas homeboy I knew I should have bit my tongue, but I was letting you know in your best interest because you look like a clown on here. But it's whatever....
As far as I'm concerned you're done trying to pound on Dubs' pads at the spot too...can't keep a frickin' beat anyway.

Yo are completely missing the point. I never said your tag was anything bad. I liked it up till just right now.
I was making a point, but now Im not so sure. For someone doing something for kindess, You sure did and do wanna come back.

I was tring to prove that just because saomebody might be better at something, don't mean it will be the best there is.
I was making a point. Using your tag as an example How can we as a community grow , if we don't defend each other against each other. You going to lose a "friendship" and burn a bridge over some internet chat?
thats whats real to you?
If so I don't want any part of this forum. I will happily continue to sell my beats over the internet like I have for the past 10 years.
You all basically let it be okay for dude to create beef.
All that I was trtiny to say in the last post was that. I was talking shit...true. But its the same as emcees taking head before and after a battle. I tried to let him and you all know that it was all for fun. and once again, you have turned it into drama.

I SAID IT FROM THE START RE_READ MY POST!
I cant bekieve you went there mythic, I tought you were better than that. especially after the music that you gave me . I could really say something about it. 🙁
now I really am buying Primer
Plenty of Graf artist woill love that spot, Plenty of emcees already love the beats.
what am I trying to prove to you non-believers?

Me judging the song was being honest. I actually liked trystyl's beats better.
Ace you kind of remind me of how I used to be and can still get at times (so it's good you're reminding me and not myself).
Anyway right now as I'm writing this I will admit that I am not the best producer around and not even the best in the area, but I am without a doubt one of the better producers in the area and I can tell you it didn't happen overnight and I can also tell you that everything I know someone else showed me or I watched someone else and found out how to do it. I can tell you within the past year my music has really started to mature and that came from hard work. Anyone can make 5 beats in a day, doesn't mean they're good.
Keep doing your thing, I know I will. Remember talk is cheap...a person can talk mad smack at the basketball court, but if they are getting dunked on everytime what's the point.
I've gotta stay hungry and keep working. It's always agift everytime I hear something that is so inspiring it makes me almost want to quit......note the almost. That's what pushes me when I'm about to say f%^& hip hop.
Another thing is I make music for fun. From what I've heard I probably don't want to be in the music business, but I do love playing/making music and that's what most important anyway.
You are welcome to think I hate you if it makes you feel better, but the fact of the matter is I don't hate you....I don't even know you, but I wish you well.

Get a grip man.
Nobody ever questioned your love for music or hip hop.
I know you're a good guy, very entertaining.
But you talked trash before a beat comp, just like he did, all in good fun, and you lost, no question about, so accept it.
As for your beats..............
1) They are some of the most poorly recorded I've heard. Honestly. You need to get some decent monitors or something. It sounds like they're mixed down on blown speakers, and I can't believe you would sell them like that.
2) Your use of samples is of very poor quality also. Part of it could be in the mix down which makes them sound flat and out of tune, but generally they just sound like you're using generic keyboard kits. The synths also sound generic and what I consider very outdated by today's standards in music making.
3) You could work on your arrangement a little also. It's not too bad, but a lot of stuff seems to clash, or not harmonize/mesh together well.
When you go around touting yourself as a high demand producer and go against people in a competition, you must realize you're opening yourself up to criticism. I just told you 3 things I feel you need to work on, because you got unanimously voted at the loser in the beat comp and I agree Trystyl won easily. You can't ignore the fact that pretty much everyone on here wasn't feeling any of your beats. I would take that as an opportunity to regroup and seriously look at why the majority of your peers aren't backing you in a beat competition, no matter how many emcees are salivating at the thought of being the privileged few to purchase your beats.
That Ces Cru remix by the way....well, it was really bad man. Those guys are way too fucking good and that beat behind them, well, I just wasn't felling it.
Then again.....maybe your beats are just so futuristic and over my head, I simply don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm confused. I interpreted what you said was that you were going to prime over my pieces. Am I not correct? I took offense to the fact that you got mad defensive and then decided that you'd make a point by saying you were going to get someone fresher to paint over my time, money and effort? How is that an example of community? I was being a friend by trying to call your behavior to your attention and you threaten to paint over my shit. Great, an eye for an eye right? If I don't know you're kidding how do you expect people who don't actually "know" you to tell the difference? It was never my intention to upset you man, but I'm also not going to let someone say they're going to destroy my work because of a difference of opinion. I'm not doing anymore of this back-and-forth stuff on here either. You know where to find me.

but here is the real!
. True.
I decided to enjoy another double Black Label while I watched Dwill smash the hell out of the buttons. I was loving it. I got drunk.. DWill looked over at me and was like, "You wanna get on these?"
I was like, "sllur, shure I whhchill." "Thanks buddy!" in the poison slur.
Mythic Im glad you know that I would never erase the art you put up at my crib out of spite.
This is whats real. I apologize for any embarassment I've caused the site. I really do wish people would stop judging each other over "chat" words. Sometimes its hard to really understand what someone is trying to say though.
I've learned my lesson about messin around with "wrong" people. (kids)
I've only gotten love here since I've joined.
It caught me off guard for someone to be so immature, arrogant, and dirty. (childish)
I never thought I would apprieciate the banter of Whatsgood, more than someone else. In sincerety

thats whats up...
However, you gotta give respect to get it Kid! 😉
I call everybody kid, I'm an old school f*cker like that.
I would never post anything seriously dope for free for a competition. It might cause me a loss of monetary units.
I put this on my mama. I made those track this week. At least 3-4 hours before i posted them.
No mastering, no deep editing, just raw fun.
Just go!
I was talking sh*t, just to talk sh*t. I was so excited about the possiblity of destroying another producer on stage.( so amped/hyped/jealous/ at the last soul providers/soul servers show). Which was the shit!
However......
When I tried to let you know that I wasn't beefin, I wasn't really trying to cause problems.
But...
Boxing, WWE, and UFC. They all shake hands before and after a bout. It didnt go that way here.
I stuck my hand out and you spat on me.
So, I came with what i could, (without comprimising my pocket$$ or selling releaseing really dope shit) and I lost.
so what?
No problem, right.
No because you disrespected my whole style. especially listiening over a lo-fi/hi-fi b.s. post. You like purple. I like Red.
Although, I took more offense that you were dissing other artist or music that i did for artist on my site. You still had no respect, let alone constructive critisim.
Thats what got to me. Songs like [b:fbc6fcadde]Milked Deck of Aces[/b:fbc6fcadde]. Still charting. For you to dis me, you dis this man, this flow and remix approved by him.
You gave no props to anything that I've done.
I never, ever, ever, attacked your music. There is such a thing as integrity. Respect. Hip Hop code of ethics. its unspoken. You broke it and people supported you. In my eyes its the same as people being okay with "bitches and bling".
especially "peers", it kind of hurt me. Understand?
You know some people who know me. you shoud ask somebody, fo real.
Im cool peeps mane, we could have built. aint that what its about?
I am not holding any grudge. I apologize too. you are forgiven.
I respect the fact that you are trying to make amends.
And like your boy Toon told me...
