ask both of them if they have considered mentoring up coming artists?
are they currently mentoring anyone?
and
what did they see in those artists that made them consider mentoring them?
what is the most challenging aspect of mentoring another artist and what approach did they take to meet that challenge?
and finally, what personal satisfaction do/did they derive from mentoring
someone?

Brother Ali is all about teaching the children. Children basically gave him his name.
He mentors kids all of the time. He has a program I believe. There is some stuff about it on his undisputed Truth DVD.
Got it last time he was here.[/quote:2909632abb]
the question was were there any questions. I'd like to hear Bro Ali and others talk about the work they are doing with youth be it mentoring, programs etc as a way to design local efforts by artists.
I want to hear details logistics, costs, staffing and the like. i know artists are giving back but I usually hear a soundbite without much meat or detail.

Ask Rakim WHY HE DIDN'T SHOW UP ON SATURDAY.
Greatest MC my ass. Was he just mad that Tech N9ne was the headliner?

Ra didn't show?
I'm glad I didn't drop coin on that show now.
By the way, he hasn't had rights to the GOAT acronym in quite some time.
