The illest shit would be an end-of-show freestyle session with all these cats. Rakim is one of the dopest that ever did it, and Ghostface is right behind him. Tech has been doing it, and so has Bro Ali, but they both represent a newer generation. History fellas, hope I can go.

[quote:af2efd8554="Reach."]Not sure I'll have the jack to go, but it's gonna be a smoker.[/quote:af2efd8554] I got you Reach, if you can get me back later. You have to go! You can't not go. If you ain't going then, um........ Im not going to uh.. uh wait. you can't not go. You are going! I got your ticket, get at me. Hip-hop lyricists Ghostface Killah, Rakim and Brother Ali will team up for the first Hip Hop Live tour, with all three performing in front of a 10-piece backing band. The three MCs will each perform separate sets during the outing, which kicks off Oct. 29 in West Hollywood, CA, with all three backed by The Rhythm Roots Allstars, a Los Angeles-based funk/worldbeat outfit that specializes in providing musical backdrops for rap vocal acts. The 19-city tour–which is sponsored by Flow TV and Dodge–runs through late November. Wu-Tang Clan founding member Ghostface Killah’s latest album, “Big Dough Rehab,” ships Dec. 4, which is also the same date that Wu-Tang’s “8 Diagrams,” the rap collective’s first new album in six years, hits stores. “Rehab” follows a pair of 2006 solo efforts, “Fishscale” and the subsequent “More Fish,” which offered outtakes and extra cuts from the former album’s recording sessions. Rakim, who rose to fame in the ’80s as one half of the hip-hop duo Eric B. and Rakim, has told various interviewers in recent months that he’s working on a new disc, tentatively titled “The Seventh Seal.” The rapper hasn’t released a studio album since his 1999 solo effort, “The Master.” Brother Ali’s second full-length, “The Undisputed Truth,” hit stores earlier this year. “Hip-Hop’s roots are nourished by live music,” Rakim said in a press release. “For artists who dug through crates searching for the perfect sample, always trying to replicate the sounds of a full band, standing on a stage, moving the crowd in front of this talent is both the nexus and the pinnacle of what we do.” Tour Dates: October 2007 29 - West Hollywood, CA - House of Blues 30 - San Diego, CA - 4th & B 31 - Long Beach, CA - The Vault 350 November 2007 1 - Santa Cruz, CA - The Catalyst 2 - San Francisco, CA - Mezzanine 3 - Portland, OR - Roseland Theatre 4 - Seattle, WA - The Showbox 7 - Park City, UT - Harry O’s 8 - Denver, CO - Ogden Theater 9 - Aspen, CO - Belly Up 10 - Kansas City, MO - Beaumont Club 11 - Minneapolis, MN - First Avenue 12 - Chicago, IL - House of Blues 13 - Bloomington, IN - Bluebird Nightclub 15 - New Haven, CT - Toad’s Place 16 - New York, NY - Nokia Theatre 17 - Baltimore, MD - Sonar 18 - Washington, DC - 9:30 Club 21 - Philadelphia, PA - Trocadero

This was so discouraging to hear, after getting off work. I know some kids that were going with their parents. They convinced them it would be a positive expierience, after they read the article in the pitch, and I talked to them about Brother Ali. I do know that $26.00 for a ticket is alot for them, so $40.00 is almost out of touch. I wonder if they still went. Its fucking sad. Fuck you Ticketmaster
