Good choice to remix. Maspyke is mad underrated in the game. Unique perspective to the track, but I love the energy of the Roddy Rod version.

I haven't heard the original, but I like this joint. It's real mellow, and I like mellow... I'm gonna have to get some of your horns on a track Mr. Bonny.

no didoubt, the original is the jam. When i do a remix.. I aim to make it the opposite of the original.. take CES CRu's "The Block" as an example. FOr the Step Off joint Roddy Rod's original beat is as live and big as the track should be... the limit in that direction if you will.. so I went the other direction.. making it as low and smallish as it could be without being minimal. DJs/Labels etc are digging so we'll see where it goes. I did this cause i love the original.. and after hearing a remix on their page that wasnt my cup of sake.. I had to do it. Next....

It especially makes sense because I noticed that ying/yang effect with the Ces Cru remixes. I RARELY say this, but those are KC classics mane! Anyways.. well.. especially good job then catching the feel you were aiming for.
