Goodbye, Manny Fresh
A Tribute to Emanuel Miguel Herrera
Photography by Jay Pilgreen. Story by Pete Dulin.
I did not know Emanuel Miguel Herrera, who was also known as Manny Fresh in the local Kansas City music scene. It is important to say so up front. Writing about Herrera, who died in an accident on March 10, in a direct manner without acknowledging that I never met the man would be insincere.
