CALL FOR DESIGNERS
The Kansas City Crossroad’s West 18th Street Fashion Show is back again.
This year’s seventh annual event is looking for artists and designers
to be a part of the exciting tradition.
To apply:
*At least 3 photographs of previous garment/clothing design work (not
on CD)
*Resume
*Please tell us how your designs will interpret this year's
title/theme, "A Summer
Wonderland"
*Registration Fee: $25 (cash or check made payable to “18th St.
Fashion Showâ€)

Last year’s West 18th Street Fashion Show, Chocolate Summer, featured
twenty collections showcasing local fashion design talent. This
tradition garners higher attendance and larger press coverage each
year. Chocolate Summer was featured in Women’s Wear Daily (New York),
KC Star, Verge Magazine, Present Magazine and The Pitch, among others.
Also, the event organizers- the 18th Street merchants birdies and
spool* - have been covered nationally in such publications as Elle
Magazine, USA Today, BUST and Nylon.
