I'd trade Outkast for a Jay-z, Nas, Wu-tang, Cormega, ect any day of the week. Outkast was butter back in the day but now they're hot garbage.

Outkast have grown and matured....seems to be in different directions, but that doesn't take away the fact they've earned a fair amount of respect.

I could never get very into Jay-Z and to say he's the greatest or one of the greatest seems pretty silly to me. To each their own......my not liking his music didn't seem to hurt his record sales a bit.

Wu was good, but started getting old after Wu Tang Forever if you ask me.....36 Chambers still gets play over here, but what are they (as a group) doing today?

Nas once again was good, but it's been downhill since Illmatic if you ask me......Hip hop isn't dead, but his career was (gimics are cool).

Cormega haven't heard anything from him this century.......doesn't mean he hasn't done anything

Anyway Outkast is every bit as good as Jay-z, Nas, or Wu....past or present.


Also everyone has their own opinion....just because I think one way doesn't mean another person can't think another.
