be as creative as you like here (there are good examples all around)

use a /third party businesses logo
show some of their products
give their address and phone number
tell their bio info or talk about them

2. If your product or project is still in the vision stage it doesn't belong here. that belongs in WHAT I'M WORKING ON

3. Events have a entire thread devoted to them, no event posts here. need to hype your event last minute use the upcoming events thread

4. Buy Sale Trade Speculate is for equipment, records, services and the like. there is a chance it will be discontinued. Just watching for now to see what happens I'll keep you posted


IF you really get to feeling pride in the site/scene/community, beyond the free advertising you get, I encourage You as an artists + members of the site, to buy advertising to announce your new releases / product/ services/offerings as well.

THIS WAY you know YOUR INVESTMENT IN HIPHOPKC going back into the KC HIPHOP community and will be reinvested into covering the cost of fulfillings hiphopkc.com's mission.

In Closing
all businesses are doing business and paying for advertising, this is not a new concept. Hiphopkc.com is no different. of course we have no marketing budget so we do link exchanges, ask folks to link to us and tell their friends about us, we talk to local artists person to person about hiphopkc and rely on the kindness of our local media for positive mentions and links to get the word out

if you have done one or all of these we thank you and plan on continuing to be worthy of such actions

feel free to let your vendors, fans and supporters know that Hiphopkc has advertising available. the sites product is ADVERTISING so far.
