Start listening to Hip Hop seriously around 1995.
Taking it back to freestyling in the back of the bus on the way to track meets. memories!!!!!!!
Didn't get serious till I had access to some original production I'd say around 2003 right before i graduated college.
Learned a lot when I moved to springfield and vibed out with Imperial and Platinum. Still learning. |

Well I guess I mean making moves to where you are now. I mean since you're a DJ I'm talking about, when was it since you did your first live show (whether it'd be someones birthday party or DJing at Scribble Jam). Pretty much the point in your life when someone first affiliated you with hip hop...
Y'know? |

i kinda went towards dj'ing because i had too many records and i choked on stage when i was rapping at 15. don't trip on having an electronica influence. I grew up on house music being from outside of chicago so I was exposed to originators of house music on wbmx and dj'ed along some of the ghetto house legends. House music helped me with mixing plus electronica had influence on dilla, you check out osme of his drums you can tell the detroit techno and kraftwerk influence on the instrumental disc. |
