Quick Update

At one point i honestly thought I was done with the album ... I'm gonna have it distributed online. But I wanted to do something sorta different for the folks here in my home city. SO what imma do is, im gonna press up maybe 200 copies of the CD ... all of them are gonna have the initial tracks on it. But i'm gonna make 3 different versions of the cd altogether. One being the standard 16 tracks, the second one being what I want to call the "Stendhal Bonus Version" that has a few extra bonus tracks on there, and third I'm gonna have the "Prozac Bonus Version" which has a few different bonus tracks on it ... the catch is this though ... you wont be able to tell which version you got till you open the CD. Just to make things interesting ...

This album is banging from front to back. Even the tracks I don't like, I secretly kind of like. Your synth style is both hypnotizing and mesmerizing.

On the real though, you combine elements of a lot of groups that I like (M83, ect.) and a lot of groups that we are both too young to remember physically (like MBV and the whole shoegaze mvmt.). Also, "Heading Back (Deafening Doves)" needs an MC on it. IMMEDIATELY. Maybe minus the "cicada sounds" (quoth my girl).

Anyway, major props. It seems like every week someone from KC is releasing something progressive and sick, but this is on a whole 'nother. Congrats.

Update ...

So I sent the album overseas, and I've yet to hear back from any one ... if they don't see fit to release it, imma just put it up on CD Baby ... with a few changes ... it might be shorter maybe a few new tracks ...

Well ... my to my chagrin ... Underscan Records (the label) isnt gonna be relasing my album, theyre going out of business

I gotta keep looking ... or else release it myself

Yo, this makes me wanna get my animation studies on. I totally got ideas. I really dig the piece as a whole. I like listening to it straight through. I didn't really wanna skip a track. Of course, I naturally have some favorites I go to after taking a listen to it in it's entirety , but if I'm chillin, it plays from beginning to end.
Great painting/drawing joint to work to. It's very surreal yet story-like. The sounds you create are quite impressive and on some weird shit. I dig.
